Here are some of my picture's from our trip to the Ulster American Folk Park. I quite like these pictures I have taken as they have some interesting fonts and designs. I decided to try and capture as many different old fashioned fonts as possible as for our major design brief I hope to bse my magazine cover and spread on some sort of country themed idea. However i am not quite sure what area in particluar i will concentrate on, nonetheless i have a notion of relating it to some sort of farmers magazine perhaps. However only time will tell! I really like the colours used in this piece opposite as they help the text stand out and it looks appealing.

Once again I like this piece of typography as it is old fasjioned.orginal and attractive. I could possibly emplpoy this type of writing design into my magazine spread perhaps to give it an original look and appreciation.

Here's another picture i took at the Ulster American Folk Park which I thougth was quite interesting. I really like the type used here as it stands out well and sells the product.

I like the idea of this text running down the side of the page and may consider possibly adopting this approach in my magazine cover as it looks well and serves its purpose well.

The thing I like most about this piece is the text "Headache Powders" and the old fashioned font in which it has been writen. this would be a really good font to use for a country related theme and say perhaps for my magazine as i hope to base it on a country related theme such as farming or something along those lines.
